The Best Image of the Year Award was presented to the film I’m Not Depressed by Mohammad Arsalan, and Mehdi Pedramkhu was named the Best Photographer of the Year.
In the photo section, Seyyed Mohammad-Saeid Sajjadi won the best award best photojournalist, while Shadi Kameli received the award in social documentary photography.
Masud Shahrestani was honored for his photos in art events and Parisa Hajjari won the award in sports photography.
Sepideh Seifi won the best award in the cartoon section and the award in the poster section went to Faezeh Shamimi.
The 16th Image of the Year Celebration opened in the Iranian Artists Forum on February 22 with the display of a selection of photos and the screening of a number of films.
