The event is slated for June 27-July 1 and includes concerts, exhibitions, film screenings and theatrical performances.

As part of the program, the National Orchestra of Iran, conducted by veteran composer Fereydoun Shahbazian will hold two concerts on June 27 at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall in Baku and June 29 at Ganja State Philharmonic in Ganja, in the west of the country. The orchestra features traditional singer Salar Aqili.

On June 28, Majid Majidi’s film “Muhammad: the Messenger of God” will be screened at Nizami Cinema Center in the capital. On the same day, Azerbaijan State Musical Theater will host “Divine Comedy, Inferno” written and directed by theater director Ebrahim Poshtkouhi based on the Italian poet Dante Alighieri’s famous masterpiece. 

The Museum Center in Baku will host an exhibition of Iranian handicraft, national costumes, calligraphy, paintings and photographs. Iran Cultural Days is part of a cultural exchange program between Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Iran’s Culture Minster Seyyed Abbas Salehi will be present at the event.
