“Wander about Me” by Ghazaleh Soltani, “Retouch” by Kaveh Mazaheri, “Red Peace” by Rahim Tufan and “Haven” by Hesam Eslami have been selected to be screened in various sections of the festival, which opened on Saturday, the organizers announced.
Some of the filmmakers are in Cyprus to attend Q&A sessions being arranged after each screening.
Films from Bulgaria, Poland, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Iceland, India and several other countries are competing in the festival, which will run until July 1.
