Entitled “Passing through Time”, the collection will contain works by Abbas Kiarostami, Kamran Shirdel Ebrahim Golestan, Majid Barzegar, Nasser Taqvai and Jafar Panahi, CAMA director Mona Khosheqbal said in a press release published on Friday.
“The exhibit also displays one photo dating back to 130 years ago taken by the Qajar-era photographer, Mirza Ebrahim Khan Akkasbashi,” she said.
Khosheqbal also said that the initial idea to set up the exhibit was put forth by Majid Barzegar in order to offer a new atmosphere and attract more visitors.
The exhibit will run through July 1 at the gallery located at No. 44, 10th Golestan, Pasdaran St.
