A selection of feature films, shorts and documentaries will be screened at the week-long event, the organizers have announced.

The features include “The Children of Heaven” (1999) by Majid Majidi, “Pig” (2018) by Mani Haqiqi, “I, Taraneh, Am 15” (2002) by Rasul Sadrameli, “Kupal” (2017) by Kazem Molai, “A Simple Event” (1973) by  Sohrab Shahid-Saless, “The Charmer”  (2018) by Milad Alami and “The Home” by Asghar Yusefinejad.

“Poets of Life” (2017) by Shirin Barqnavard, “Ali Aqa” (2017) by Kamran Heidari and “The Invincible Diplomacy of Mr. Naderi”, co-directed by Maryam Moqaddam and Behtash Sanaeiha, are among the documentaries to go on screen at the festival.

The shorts and animations include “The Dreams of Cooking” by Arvin Medqalchi, “Retouch” by Kaveh Mazaheri and “Animal”, co-directed by Bahram and Bahman Ark.

The Cinema d’Iran has been founded by French, Iranian and Franco-Iranian students at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO).
