The event is named ‘2018,’ the year in which Tabriz has been selected by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as the capital of Islamic tourism, Honaronline reported.

It opened on January 21 for ten days. A total of 100 paintings and sculptures are on show at the institute’s two galleries Lorzadeh and Farshchian.

Paintings are created with oil, acrylic, pastel, drawing pens and mixed media. They cover a vast range of themes and subjects, from natural scenery and human figures to abstract concepts.

Sculptures are made of various materials, depicting environmental concerns, human forms and figures and spiritual concepts.

The group has held two exhibitions in Tabriz. This is their third collective project.

Saba Cultural institute, affiliated to the Iranian Academy of Arts, is located at No. 125, Mozaffar Brothers Street, Felestin (Palestine) Street, near Felestin Square.
