Like most of the festival’s orchestral performances, the two concerts will be held at Vahdat Hall.

The first is slated for January 11 and will feature traditional vocalist Salar Aqili, 40, whose previous collaboration with National Orchestra goes back to the September of last year. The second is scheduled for January 15 and will be accompanied by traditional singer and ney player Mohammad Mo’tamedi, 39, whose last concert in Vahdat Hall was in February, Mehr News Agency reported. “The orchestra will perform compositions by prominent Iranian musicians with new arrangements,” Mo’tamedi said. Tickets are available at Iranconcert.com and 3670.ir.
