He made the remarks in a press conference held at the Iranian Youth Cinema Society on Saturday.
The final works have been selected out of about 5900 films submitted to the secretariat from 117 countries.
“Polish filmmaker Andrej Bednarek, Estonian director Peter Murdmaa, documentary film producer from Lebanon Abir Hashem, Yuk Mui “Gipsy” Chang from Hong Kong, as well as Mehdi Karampur from Iran will judge the films competing in the international section,” he said.
Films competing in the national section will be judged by Hamid Nematollah, Jafar Sanei-Moqaddam, Majid Sheikh Ansari, Majid Barzegar, Mehdi Jafari, Omid Saharkhiz and Mahnaz Afzali.
In addition, the foreign jury members are scheduled to hold sessions on the sidelines of the festival.
Also included are a number of honoring ceremonies and film review sessions to be held during the festival.
The organizers will pay homage to the late young animator Vahid Nasiairan who died of heart failure in late July.
Works by filmmakers Ebrahim Saeidi and Dariush Gharibzadeh will also be reviewed during the gala.
The 34th Tehran International Short Film Festival will be running from October 17 to 22.
