Rokneddin Khosravi

  • Tehran’s Theater Forum was the venue for a special program in which A-list artists and high-ranking cultural officials paid their tributes to Master Rokneddin Khosravi. A library and an archive center were also inaugurated on the sidelines of the main event on Wednesday, 6 March. Khosravi, born in March 1930 in Tehran, was a director, actor, translator, and one of the founders of Iran's National Academy of Dramatic Arts. He passed away in London in February 2017. The Sea's Silence, End of the game, from Behind the Window, Hi and Bye, and Joan of Arc's Trial are among his works.

  • Tributes poured in to Rokneddin Khosravi in a special ceremony at Sanglaj Theater in Tehran. Manager of Iran Dramatic Arts Center Director of Dramatic Arts Mehdi Shafiei and a number of artisans attended the Saturday night gathering. Khosravi, born in March 1930 in Tehran, was a director, actor, translator, and one of the founders of Iran's National Academy of Dramatic Arts. He passed away in London in February 2017.
