The closure of the 14th Fajr Visual Arts Festival held on March 4th with Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaeili Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mahmoud Salari Deputy Minister of Culture for Art Affairs, Hadi Mozafari Director of the Culture Ministry's Visual Arts Office, and a limited group of artists participating attendance at Vahdat Hall.
The 14th Fajr Visual Arts Festival opened at the Iranian Academy of the Arts in Tehran on Friday.The opening ceremony was attended by Mahmoud Shalouie, adviser to the minister, Deputy Culture Minister for Art Affairs Mahmoud Salari, Visual Arts Office Director Hadi Mozaffari, and Director of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art Ehsan Aqaei.
Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center holds a program titled ‘Iranian Cypress’ to commemorate Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and resistance martyrs from January 3 to 7.
The program included the symbolic planting of a cypress and opening a visual arts exhibition.The exhibition feature painting, photography, poster, and calligraphy on the theme of resistance martyr.
The ceremony was held in the presence of Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs Mahmoud Salari, Secretary of the Council Mahmoud Shalouie, Mohammad Hossein Niroumand, Artistic Advisor to the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and Roudaki Foundation Managing Director Mahdi Afzali on Monday.
The mourning ceremony of ritual poetry "Beloved of God" was held on Saturday, at the Vahdat Hall with the enthusiastic presence of poets with the recitation about Fatima, in which the news of the establishment of the Secretariat of Ritual Poetry was announced in the near future. The ceremony was held in the presence of Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaeili, Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs Mahmoud Salari, Roudaki Foundation Managing Director Mahdi Afzali and poets, admirers and enthusiasts on Saturday night at Vahdat Hall.
