Kenro Izu

  • TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) – A collection of photos by Kenro Izu, a world-renowned U.S.-based Japanese photographer, is on display in an exhibition at the Steve House in the central Iranian city of Kashan, Famous for its rosewater and historical monuments.

  • Nabshi Center in Tehran is the venue for a photography exhibition by Japanese photographer Kenro Izu until 1 November. The collection includes photos from his series Sacred Places, Still Life and Blue. Kenro Izu was born in Osaka, Japan. Izu moved to New York in 1970 to study photography, and subsequently decided to stay and work there. Since 1979, in addition to his well established commercial work, Izu began his serious professional commitment to his fine art photography, traveling the world to capture the sacred ancient stone monuments in their natural settings.
