TEHRAN. (HONARONLINE) – The Kamkars, Iran’s leading Kurdish family music ensemble, will be performing at the Kurdistan International Peace Carnival, which will be held in Slemani, Iraq on September 21.
The Kamkars music group performed live on Tuesday to an audience at the Royal Hall of Espinas Palace Hotel in Tehran. The Kamkars is a Kurdish family of seven brothers and a sister, all from the city of Sanandaj, the capital of the Kurdistan province of Iran.
TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) -- Legendary Iranian vocalist Shahram Nazeri and the Kamkars performed a joint fundraising concert for the victims of the devastating earthquake in their homeland of Kermanshah at the Grand Hall of the Interior Ministry in Tehran on Monday.
The main salon of Interior Ministry hosted a charity concert on Monday to raise funds for the victims of recent earthquake in Kermanshah province. The older generation of the Kamkars Ensemble performed during the one-night event in collaboration with Master Shahram Nazeri, Siavash Nazeri and Naser Ranjbar.
TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) - Composer, santur player and arranger Ardavan Kamkar, 49, a member of the Kamkars ensemble, will perform a concert on July 6 at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall.
