Colleagues, family members, friends and fans gathered in front of the Iranian Artists Forum on Tuesday to say goodbye to the veteran stage and screen actor Dariush Asadzadeh. With a decades-long career, Asadzadeh has played in over 100 movies and TV series. He died at his home in Tehran on August 24. Asadzadeh was 96.

94-year-old actor Dariush Assadzadeh, voice actor Abolhassan Tahaminejad, director Dariush Mehrjui and writer Seyyed Mahdi Shojaee were honored at the 20th edition of Iran Cinema Celebration in Tehran. Officials, colleagues and fans attended the Friday ceremonial in the Shams Hall.

The Iranian Artists Forum was the space for an extraordinary program on Thursday, 2 August, to pay tribute to Dariush Asadzadeh. The program included inauguration of two new books, Tehran memories narrated by Dariush Asadzadeh and It Dawns in the Desert… written by Nasim Khalili.
A special ceremony was held in Gouya Art & Culture House to mark the 94th birthday anniversary of veteran actor Dariush Asadzadeh. The event included a book signing ceremony.
