7th Fajr International Fashion and Clothing Festival

  • The seventh edition of Fajr International Fashion and Clothing Festival came to a close on Monday. Culture Minister Seyyed Abbas Salehi and Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs Seyyed Mohammad Mojtaba Hosseini attended the closing ceremonial at the Vahdat Hall along with a number of A-listers in the Iranian fashion industry.

  • The annual Fajr Fashion and Clothing Festival has an international strand. The inauguration ceremony took place Saturday morning at Tehran’s Roudaki Hall. In attendance were Deputy Culture Minister Seyyed Mohammad Mojtaba Hosseini, festival director, MP Ahmad Mazani, Head of the Institute for Development of Contemporary Art Mahdi Afzali, as well as representatives from the Iranian fashion and clothing industry, foreign ambassadors, art and culture officials, and delegates from 10 countries participating in this year’s event.

  • The first three days of the Fajr International Fashion and Clothing Festival saw live competitions among entrants in fashion and clothing design at the Vahdat Hall. The freestyle design competition opened to both concept stage and realized works designed by professional and young fashion designers, tailors, stylists, fashion design companies, and other business in the industry.

  • The 7th edition of Fajr International Fashion and Clothing Festival has been a venue for pressers and workshops by the fashion industry’s movers and shakers, associations, art and culture institutes. These events were organized at the Institute for Development of Children and Young Adults in Tehran.

  • Shahindokht Molaverdi, an academic, Jurist, scholar and Special Assistant to the President for Citizenship Rights in the second cabinet of Hassan Rouhani, visited the 7th edition of Fajr Fashion and Clothing Festival in Tehran. Festival secretary Hamid Ghobadi, as well as lawmakers Fatemeh Zolghadr and Farideh Olad accompanied here on Monday morning.

  • The 7th Fajr International Fashion and Clothing Festival opened Monday morning in Roudaki Hall and will be held for 10 days. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Culture Minister Seyyed Mohammad Mojtaba Hosseini, festival secretary Hamid Qobadi, as well as lawmakers Fatemeh Zolghadr and Farideh Olad. A number of fashion industry designers, producers, union members and associations also took part in the opening event.
