TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) – The 35th edition of the Fajr Music Festival wrapped up on Thursday night at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall with a performance of “Under Siege” by the Tehran Symphonic Orchestra in commemoration of Martyr Qassem Soleimani.
Over 80 Iranian traditional, pop and classical ensembles are performing during the 35th Fajr Music Festival, which opened on 13 February, and will wrap up on 20 February. The performances are being held at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall, Rudaki Hall, Niavaran Cultural Center and several other halls. Musicians from seven countries have also participated at the festival.
The closing ceremony of the 35th Fajr Music Festival was held at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall. The veteran Iranian musicians, Houshang Zarif, Ofelia Parto, Ashiq Hassan Eskandari and the Nader Mashayekhi were honored at Thursday event.

TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) – Maestro Nader Mashayekhi, the former conductor of the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, has said that the participation of promising young musicians is one good point about the 35th Fajr Music Festival this year.
A violin duet concert by Austrian musicians Daniel and Barbara Auner was performed on the fourth night of the 35th Fajr Music Festival. Niavaran Cultural Center hosted Saturday event. They are members of the Viennese Auner Quartett, which also comprises of violist Nikita Gerkusov, and cellist Konstantin Zelenin.
