17th International Puppet Festival

The 17th International Puppet Festival (Tehran-Mobarak) is a must-see event for puppet lovers. It has gathered companies and troupes from across the nation putting on different shows. There will be more performances on stages installed throughout the enclosure, from the main building to the outdoor venue, and in squares and inner spaces.

Tehran’s City Theater was the venue for Friday’s family-friendly stories, surprising productions, thought-provoking and moving examples of the power of puppetry that fostered compassion and sparked insight.

  • The City Theater played host to the first day of the 17th International Puppet Festival (Tehran-Mobarak). Families and fans from all walks of life took part in the opening ceremony outside the main venue.
