12th Fajr Festival of Visual Arts

  • TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) - Winners of the 12th edition of the Fajr Festival of Visual Arts, which is organized every year by the Visual Arts Office of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, were announced on Wednesday.

  • The 12th Fajr Festival of Visual Arts kicked off on February 18 at Saba Cultural Institute in Tehran and will run through February 24. A selection of 900 works is on view in different sections of painting, photo, sculpture, calligraphy, miniature, illustration, cartoon, graphic design and new media. Almost 450 works by about 340 artists are competing for the Golden Tooba at the festival. For the first time, the artworks have been offered for sale.
