  • TEHRAN. (HONARONLINE) – A restored copy of The Lovers’ Wind, French filmmaker and producer Albert Lamorisse’s 1970 documentary about the daily life and natural attractions of Iran, is scheduled to be screened at the Art and Experience Cinema halls in Tehran, Shiraz and Isfahan on Wednesday.

  • Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs Seyyed Mohammad Mojtaba Hosseini and the Director General of Cite Internationale des Arts Benedicte Alliot had a meeting on Monday to discuss bilateral ties in artistic fields. “Iranian artists have ranked sixth among 100 countries in this artist-in-residence building,” Alliot said. Inaugurated in 1965, the Cité internationale des arts offers residency workshops known as Living Workshops designed for work and housing, located at two main sites in Paris. One, located in the Marais includes the first building from 1965 as well as buildings whose renovation was completed in 1995, while the second is located in Montmartre. The Cité internationale des arts also has collective workshops for visual artists and rehearsal studios for musicians. Its residency programs are aimed at French and foreign artists who wish to work in Paris. The Foundation has accommodated more than 15,000 artists since its foundation.
