TEHRAN. (HONARONLINE) – Iran is taking part in the 58th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia (Venice Biennale), dubbed Of Being and Singing, in Venice, Italy. The program runs from May 11th to November 24th.

(HONARONLINE) – Iranian contemporary artist Samir Alikhanzadeh is taking part in the 58th edition of Venice Biennale in Italy with her selected art collection dubbed The Rigid Phantom of Memory. The 52-year-old artist says her work is based on photographs of Iranian family albums. The 58th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia runs from May 11th to November 24th. Iran’s pavilion is also showcasing artworks by Reza Lavassani and Ali Meer Azimi at this year’s international art event.

A presser was held on Saturday in Vahdat Hall by Hadi Mozaffari of the Visual Arts Affair Office of the Culture Ministry to explain Iran’s artistic programs at this year’s Venice Biennale in Italy. Sponsored by Ayandeh Bank, Iran’s pavilion will showcase selected artworks by Samira Alikhanzadeh, Reza Lavassani and Ali Meer Azimi at this year’s international art event. Sam Farrokhi, the head of Ayandeh Bank’s Marketing Department attended the press conference.
