• Directed by Pourya Kakavand, new feature film Golden Time saw its premiere screening at the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran. Artists and fans attended the screening on Monday.

  • The second edition of Musical Instruments Show has begun its work in the Artists Forum until 1 November. Prominent Iranian musicians attended the inauguration ceremony on Monday. This exhibition, a collection of Iran’s top musical instruments, offers a selection of instruments that illustrates a range of styles and cultural uses.

  • The Iranian Artists Forum played host to a ceremony on 27 September to honor Iranian painter and a professor of art, Mohsen Vaziri-Moghaddam. The program was co-hosted by the Association of Iranian Sculptors, his family, Aydin Aghdashloo and Hamid Shans. Vaziri-Moghaddam (May 26, 1924 – 7 September 7, 2018), has been described as the Pioneer of Modern Iranian Abstraction.

  • The Iranian Artists Forum is the venue for passion plays that depict the martyrdom of Imam Hossein (AS), the third Shia Imam, in the Battle of Karbala. The Battle of Karbala took place on Muharram 10, in the year 61 AH of the Islamic calendar in Karbala, in present-day Iraq. The battle took place between a small group of supporters and relatives of Prophet Mohammad's grandson, Hossein ibn Ali, and a larger military detachment from the forces of Yazid I, the Umayyad caliph.

  • Concurrent with the mourning month of Muharram that marks the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hossein (AS), the third Shia Imam and grandson of the Prophet Mohammad (SAWA), several passion plays (Ta’zieh) are being performed every day in the open space of the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran.

  • The Artists Forum paid tribute to veteran actor Parviz Pourhossini on Thursday, 6 September. The poster of Old Road movie by director Manijeh Hekmat was also inaugurated during the program.

  • The Zemestan (Winter) Gallery of Artists Forum in Tehran is playing host to a new art exhibition by veteran artist Mohammad Mehdi Anoushfar. The program is under the auspices of the visual arts center of the Culture Ministry and the Iranian Potters Society.

  • The fifth edition of Four Corners of Imagination Group Art Exhibition is underway in the Artists Forum. Organized by the Association of Iranian Sculptors, the show will run through in three halls until 24 July.
