Goblet drummers played the central role during the sixth day of the 12th National Festival of Youth Music at the Persian Gulf Hall of Niavaran Cultural Complex. The tompak, also tombak, is a goblet drum from Iran. It is considered the principal percussion instrument of Persian music.
