• Tehran’s Vahdat Hall opened its doors Thursday and Friday to a live music concert, titled Nostalgia, by acclaimed musician, composer and orchestra conductor Nasser Cheshmazar and his guest singer Ashkan Khatibi. The duo’s repeat performances were accompanied by the Istgah Orchestra’s instrumentalists. The conductor is one of the most acclaimed faces in the world of music and a pioneer in combining Iranian music with western electric instruments.
