TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) -A photography competition titled, ‘Frames of Freedom,’ with the theme of Azadi Tower, will be held in Iran’s capital Tehran.
TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) - Mar. 28 (MNA) – Along with many other landmark structures on earth, the iconic Azadi Tower went dark to mark the Earth Hour on Saturday evening.
In this ceremony Mahdi Afzali Managing Director of the Roudaki Foundation, Seyyed Abbas Azimi president of the Azadi Tower and a group of artists presented. Several veteran photographers were honored at the opening ceremony while Narges Raadman, the photographer of health defenders who is also attending the exhibit with one of her Haft-Seen spreads, was honored.
The Azadi Tower's museum is home to old cameras and equipment dating back to 170 years ago in addition to old photos from the collection of veteran photographer Mohammad-Ali Jadidoleslam.
‘Sky Wall’ was performed on the walls of Tehran’s Azadi Tower, by Iranian artist Yaser Khaseb, in memory of, and respect for, the heroes and martyrs of the country.
