The exhibition was slated to be held from August 23 to 29.

Khashayar Nikzadfar added that since any kinds of gatherings is prohibited according to the National Headquarters for Managing and Fighting the Coronavirus, if the new cases of COVID-19 continue to increase in the country, the organizers of the event will postpone the exhibition to a later time.

Artists from 31 Iranian provinces are submitting their works, while four halls at the Tehran International Exhibition Center are being prepared for the exhibition.

The exhibition will be held simultaneously with the Iran Handmade Carpet Exhibition, he said, expressing hope that holding these two exhibitions concurrently will help sell handicrafts and handmade carpets.
