The exhibit has been organized the Art and Cultural Organization of the Tehran Municipality and the Embassy of Algeria, the center announced on Monday.
Collections of artwork and handicrafts created by Algerian artists and artisans will be showcased at the exhibition.
The event also intends to familiarize visitors with Algerian cuisine, as well as a number of national rituals and social customs of the country.
Photos of a number Algerian luminaries and sets of traditional costumes will also be on display at the exhibition.
A lineup of films will also be screened during the exhibition, which will run until Friday. “The Battle of Algiers”, a war drama directed by Gillo Pontecorvo, is on the lineup.
