The exhibition that will last for a fortnight has been organized as part of a variety of programs, which are scheduled to celebrate the 20th anniversary of transferring the capital from Almaty to Astana on July 6.

Twenty works from a collection preserved by Iran’s Sadabad Cultural-Historical Complex have been loaned to the exhibition, which will be held in collaboration with the Embassy of Iran in Astana, the complex announced on Tuesday.

An Iranian orchestra will also perform with traditional Iranian instruments during two concerts at the Spirit of Astana, an international festival of contemporary ethnic music in the capital of Kazakhstan running from July 6 to 8.

Vahid Taj and conductor Ali-Akbar Qorbani will accompany the orchestra during the concerts.
