In a press conference held at the forum on Monday, the director of the Iranian Graphic Designers Society, Mostafa Asadollahi, called graphic design the most powerful medium in modern life.
“We aim to teach graphic design to people through this exhibit,” he added.
Over 500 posters, book covers, designs of brochures and catalogs, digital graphic designs, and a collection of typographical designs will be showcased at the exhibition, which will run until January 2, 2018.
Top works in each category will be honored during a ceremony at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art on January 5.
A catalog of the biennial is scheduled to be unveiled at the closing ceremony.
