Titled ‘Historical Sites of Tabriz in Frame,’ the contest focuses on traditional and vernacular architecture in the historical texture of Tabriz. Its purpose is to raise awareness about the region’s cultural heritage, Iranian Visual Arts News Agency reported.
Deadline for submission of photographs is December 21. Works should be sent to the urban development office of Tabriz Municipality on the corner of South Lalezar Street, Abu-Reyhan Junction, postal code: 5174643119, Tel: 34793363.
The submitted photos will be judged on December 31. Jury members are architect Mohammad Reza Khakzad and photographers Mehdi Tehranchi and Mohammad Ali JadidolIslam. The top three works will receive cash prizes.
