TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) – Iranian director Hassan Majuni plans to stage Russian playwright Anton Chekhov’s “Three Sisters” at Tehran’s Paliz Theater on June 6.
The 1901 play is about three sisters Olga, Masha and Irina, who grew up in a cultured and educated family in Moscow but now they have to live in a small, boring town.
Saeid Changizian, Fariba Jeddikar, Hossein Omidi, Mehdi Bajestani and Milad Shajareh are the main members of the cast for the play.
