Italian director to restage “The First 100 Years of Edith Piaf” in Tehran

The play was staged in Tehran once previously in September 2016.

Nathalie Mentha will star in the performance, which is a musical journey in late 1930s France through the songs of Edith Piaf (1915-1963), the French cabaret singer, songwriter and actress who became widely regarded as France’s national chanteuse.

Only women are allowed to attend the performance.
