Kushk-Jalai translated the play into Persian from the original language. The play is based on English writer Daniel Defoe’s 1719 novel “Robinson Crusoe”.

The play has had 700 performances in European countries, while it has also been staged in Tehran, Rasht, Mashhad, Ahvaz and Tabriz.

“Robinson and Crusoe” is the story of two soldiers, Robinson and Crusoe, cast away on a deserted island.

Two soldiers from different camps stranded together on a roof and surrounded by nothing but a vast ocean in a place to which neither of them belongs.

The play will go on stage in Tehran’s Shahrzad Theater on November 11 and will be on stage for one month.
