“Hearing” is about an older student at a girls’ boarding school who conducts successive hearings of younger ones, one of whom claims to have heard a male voice from another student’s room.

Elham Korda, Mahin Sadri, Mona Ahmadi and Aynaz Azarhush are the main members of the cast for the play.

Last September, the troupe received the Jovan Cirilov Special Award at the 51st Belgrade International Theater Festival – Bitef in Serbia for performing the play.

The fourth edition of the Ingmar Bergman International Theatre Festival opened at the Royal Dramatic Theatre (Dramaten) last Thursday. Troupes from Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Brazil, France, Belgium and several other countries are participating in the event.

The festival was established in 2015 to commemorate Ingmar Bergman (1918-2007), the Swedish director, writer and producer who worked in film, television, theatre and radio.
