The play 'The Story of the Panda Bears' written by Romanian-French playwright, poet and journalist Matei Visniec in 1994, and directed by Iranian theater director Shiva Ordui will be staged from July 8 at Paliz Theater in Tehran.

This is the second time it will be performed, after its first staging 10 years ago by Tinoush Nazmjou, theater director, actor and writer, Honaronline reported.

A romantic comedy, it is about the nine nights of enigmatic friendship between a man and a woman.

"The main theme of the play is life and death," Ordui said, adding that many art fans have read the script. "Reading a play is usually a bit difficult but this special play has a smooth and attractive structure and its reading is a pleasant experience for many people."

This is Ordui's fourth work as a director in which Soheila Golestani and Reza Molai perform.
