Cinema
-The movie “Walnut Tree”, which started for free on Nowruz interactive TV “Telubion” this year, has been watched by one million and 24 thousand users.
-The Iranian short drama, "The Recess" directed by Navid Nikkhah Azad, has won the best award at the C.M.U. Santa María de Europa in Spain.
- Iranian filmmaker Mehrdad Hassani’s drama “Adjustment” has won the Grand Prix at the Busan International Short Film Festival.
-Paintings by 21 Iranian children have won awards at the Kanagawa Biennial World Children’s Art Exhibition in Japan.
Visual Arts
-In its inaugural participation in Art Brussels, Mohsen Gallery represented works of four Iranian artists, Amir-Nasr Kamgooyan, Majid Biglari, Samira Hodaei, and Ali Phi, whose artworks are inspired by the notion of immigration.
-The O Gallery from 28 April until May 1, 2022, participated in Paper Positions Berlin with a number of works on paper by Ali Nasir, Afshan Daneshvar, Ona Mo'erkeh and Elham Yazdanian.
-The introduction ceremony of Abdolreza Sohrabi as the new Director General of Visual Arts, farewell and honoring Hadi Mozaffari was held.
-Last week, Tehran galleries hosted 27 new exhibitions in various fields of visual arts.
Theater
-The play "Dr. Noon loves his wife more than Mossadegh" written by Shahram Rahimian, playwright by Delara Noushin and Mohammad Vafaei, Noureddin Heidari Maher as the executive producer and Hadi Marzban as director, is on stage every day in the main hall of City Theater Complex.
-Mostafa Mahmoudi as the president of jury and Amin Ashrafi with Ali Aghajanloo were introduced as the Jury of the critics section of the National Pantomime Festival of Iran.
-The play "Recent Experiences", written by Amir Reza Kouhestani and directed by Hossein Kashefi Asl, went on stage in City Theater Complex on Sunday, May 29.
-The play reading " Mouse of Theater City " written by Mehdi Maleki and directed by Alireza Ghorbanzadeh went to the Shahrzad Theater Complex.
Music
-The concert "Tar Majnoon, Mooye Leili" under the direction of Ali Ghamsari was performed in the framework of a series of events in honor of Hakim Nezami and accompanied by the Roudaki Cultural and Artistic Foundation at Vahdat Hall.
-Iran’s Istgah Orchestra, under the supervision of Mehdi Norouzi, was appointed as one of the messengers of the International Peace Bureau (IPB).
Culture and Literature
-“The Chancellor: The Remarkable Odyssey of Angela Merkel”, Kati Marton’s biography of German Chancellor Angela Merkel has been published in Persian.Translated by Saeid Kalati, the book has been published by Saless in Tehran.
-The names of the candidates for the fourteenth great festival of Iranian film critics and writers were announced in four sections.
-The poster of the 33rd Tehran International Book Fair was published with the slogan "We are healthy with the book".
-The live protection ceremony of the memory of Mohammad Ali Eslami Nadooshan held by the Book and Literature House of Iran.
-Twelve Iranian Quran activists were honored on Thursday during the closing ceremony of the 29th edition of the International Holy Quran Exhibition in Tehran.
-Qatar, the host of World Cup 2022, was selected as the guest of honor at the 33rd Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF).
-The Turkish translation of the Iranian book, ‘Red Jewel,’ penned by Iranian writer Hamid Hesam, was released by the Turkish publishing house Feta in Istanbul.
-The closing ceremony of Saadi Shirazi week was held on Sunday night at his tomb with the presence of several provincial officials.
Architecture
-Alvar Alto Landscape Architecture Exhibition is held on the occasion of Architect's Day in Isfahan and Shiraz.
- The "Knight" badge was awarded to an Iranian architect Dariush Borbor at an official ceremony at the French Embassy.
-Online meeting with the subject "Mapping in the construction process" was held with a speech by Mohammad Javad Nazari.
- The call for the award "Architecture for the protection and restoration of valuable spaces in Iran" was published.
