‘Narrator of Love’ (in Persian: Ravi-e Eshq), the audio-visual album composed by santur player and composer Jamshid Safarzadeh, 35, will be unveiled at Ibn Sina branch of Book City Institute located on north Iranzamin Street.

It is a product of Soor music ensemble, the group that accompanied Aqili in his European tour in January 2016, according to musiceiranian.ir, a local website on music events.

The album is sponsored by Barbad Music, a Tehran-based company that will also distribute it.

The unveiling ceremony from 9-11 am will be attended by Aqili, Safarzadeh, Soor members and music fans.

It is Soor’s third album after ‘Dar Eshq Zendeh Bayad’ (literally, love needs living), released in March 2017 and the first album ‘Yar-e-Mast’ (Intoxicated Friend), sung by Aqili and released in summer of 2013.

A prominent vocalist among the young generation of Iranian traditional musicians, Salar Aqili is dedicated to passing on the values of Persian music from masters such as Mohammad Reza Shajarian to the next generation of music lovers.

His silky voice and tendency to produce genuine traditional music have elevated him to a special place in music forums, according to kodoom.com.
