Alim Hamza oglu Qasimov an Azerbaijani musician will give a concert along with Parvaz Homai an Iranian composer, lyricist, vocalist, and performer by Mastan Ensemble at Milad Tower Conference Center which will be held on March 9 and 10.
Alim Qasimov a foremost mugham singer in Azerbaijan, previously performed in Tehran's Vahdat Hall and Niavaran Palac on July 2003 and on September 2006. Also Alim Qasimov and his daughter Fargana Qasimova together with the Tehran Wind Orchestra gave concerts at Vahdat Hall in January 2015.
In 2010, Alim Qasimov was nominated for the United States National Public Radio's "50 great voices in recorded history" award and he is a winner of the 1999 UNESCO Music Prize, which is presented by the International Music Council of the organization.
