Hossein Alizadeh’s score for the 1992 feature ‘Del Shodegan’ (Love-stricken), as well as the soundtrack of ‘Mother’ (1991), composed by Arsalan Kamkar, will be played at Vhadat Hall on July 2.

The event will be streamed online on Roudaki Cultural and Art Foundation’s official website (bonyadroudaki.com) and its Instagram page (bonyad.roudaki) on July 9.

This will be orchestra’s first performance in current Persian calendar year (starting March 21, 2021).

‘Mother’ is the story of a mother bringing together her children in the final days of her life, as she prepares them for the ceremonies following her departure.

‘Del Shodegan’ depicts an Iranian classical music ensemble in Qajar Period struggling to release their first record which takes them on a journey to France.
