Violinist Amin Ghafari and his ensemble Pasargad Orchestra will perform classical pieces selected from among famous film scores, Navaye Fars (navayefars.com) reported.

The concert starts at 10 pm with a repertoire including compositions by German film score composer Hans Zimmer, 59; American composer, conductor and pianist John Williams, 85; Austrian violinist and composer Fritz Kreisler (1875-1962); and Iranian-German composer Ramin Djawadi, 43, known for his compositions in epic and action movies, but best known for the score of ‘Game of Thrones.’

The pieces have undergone new arrangements by conductor and violinist Mehdi Panahi in collaboration with pianist and composer Homayoun Aramfar who will play the piano.

Electric guitar, bass guitar and percussion will also accompany the violins. Players include Navid Shabanzade, Amin Atai, Danial Jourabchi, Hasti Sepasi, Mohammad Sadeq Farzaneh, Hossein Mohammadi, Sahar Shateri and Mahsima Fallahi.
