The performances, which will be conducted by Shahrdad Rohani, will be held at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on August 6, 10, 17 and 18, the organizers announced on Monday.

“Peter and the Wolf” by Sergei Prokofiev and “The Carnival of the Animals” by Camille Saint-Saëns are among the pieces selected for the concerts. 

In addition, “Jaws” by John Williams and “Baroque Flamenco” by Deborah Henson will be performed.

Four teenage harpists will accompany the orchestra during the performances for the first time.
