The concert was performed under the baton of Italian maestro Riccardo Muti who conducted the orchestras during a similar performance at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall earlier last week.
Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs Ali Moradkhani and several other Iranian officials along with audience of 4000 attended the concert entitled “The Roads of Friendship”.
A repertoire of Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi’s pieces was performed at the concert, which began with the national anthems of Iran and Italy.
