The Kaliveh Music Group and vocalist Alireza Qorbani’s ensemble announced on Thursday that they would cancel their concerts scheduled for this weekend in solidarity with the victims of Wednesday’s terrorist attacks in Tehran.
Qorbani was scheduled to perform songs from his latest album “Forugh” at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on Thursday and Friday and Kaliveh was to give a concert at a Mexico City university on Friday.
Kaliveh gave several performances of Iranian music at Mexico’s National Museum of Cultures last week.
Many Iranian celebrities, including pop star Reza Sadeqi, wrote messages of condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist attacks on social networks.
