The former, published in collaboration of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, is aimed at introducing Iran’s arts and culture, and the latter is a selection of poetries by 30 contemporary poets in Azerbaijani language published by Iran’s Arts Bureau.

The books were unveiled in a ceremony attended by Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov, Minister of Culture Anar Karimov from Azerbaijan and Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Yaser Ahmadvand and Cultural Attaché in Baku Qorbanali Pourmarjan from Iran.

The Iran Book and Literature House, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, showcases more than 400 books on children and adolescence literature, Iranology, visual arts and other topics.

Over 60 foreign organizations from over 10 countries, 118 local publishing houses and enterprises are represented at the book fair, arranged by Azerbaijan’s Culture Ministry.

The 8th Baku International Book Fair kicked off on October 5 and will continue until October 9
