The museum hosted 13,481 people from March 22 to April 1. During the period, the theater complex welcomed visitors from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The figure shows a 60 percent increase in comparison with last year.

The museum reported that this year, 1,226 individuals paid a visit to the museum’s galleries each day. Last year’s figure stood at 723 people per day.

The museum holds 40,000 photographs of Iranian cinema and artists, more than 5,000 volumes of cinema magazines, 3,000 pieces of historical documents, correspondence and contracts, about 350 sets of tools and instruments, 2,500 film announcements, and 4,000 screenplays. The complex also has three cinema halls (Cinematograph, Cinema Tamaddon and Cinema Ferdows).
