The publisher, in association with the office of the Iranian cultural attaché in Austria, has been offering more than a hundred titles in various genres of Iranian literature, namely, religion, the classic and contemporary literature, children’s books, Sacred Defense, as well as Iranian art and Iranology, IRNA reported.

The five-day event ends today in the Austrian capital.

An introduction of the Tehran International Book Fair, as well as Grant Plan and Translation of Persia (TOP) Plan – schemes established by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to promote Iranian literature on a global scale – were also among the publisher’s programs at the event.

The 13th edition of the Vienna International Book Fair, also known as Buch Wien, hosted 575 authors from around the world.

The exhibition is the most important event in the Austrian book industry and, with hundreds of publishing companies taking part, a place of inspiration for publishers throughout the world.

Visitors can also expect hundreds of events, stage talks, panel discussions, book readings and lectures by German-speaking and international authors on major topics of the day.

Some 55,000 spectators are believed to have visited this year’s exhibition.
