The book “Immanuel Kant,” is a product of seven years of research by the author about Kant and his philosophy, Honaronline reported on its Persian website.

A German philosopher, Kant is considered a central figure in modern philosophy. His influence on western thought has been profound. Over and above his influence on specific thinkers, Kant changed the framework within which philosophical inquiry has been carried out. He argued that the human mind creates the structure of human experience. According to Kant, the man is a rational being who has an autonomous will and reason itself determines a moral law.

Over the years, Goldmann’s excellent study of Kant has remained the classic introductory text to Kant’s legacy and philosophy.

Goldmann (1913-1970) was a French philosopher and sociologist of Romanian origin. He was an instructor at the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences in Paris.
