TEHRAN.(HONARONLINE) – The director of the National Library and Archives of Iran (NLAI), Ashraf Borujerdi, met with the Tajikistan Minister of Culture, Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda, in Dushanbe on Thursday.
Borujerdi, who has traveled to Tajikistan to attend the 4th meeting of the directors of national libraries of the ECO, expressed her hope that a center for Tajik studies would open at the NLAI in the near future.
They also stressed the need for increasing bilateral collaboration between the two countries on publications and holding book fairs.
