The Persian audiobook “Living Your Unlived Life” authored by the renowned therapist Robert A. Johnson and fellow Jungian psychologist Jerry M. Ruhl has recently been released in Tehran.

The audiobook was unveiled during a ceremony at the Book City Institute on Monday, the Persian service of ISNA reported on Tuesday.

Rendered into Persian by Simin Movahhed, the audiobook was narrated by film director Masud Forutan. They also were in attendance at the ceremony. In addition, a preface to the book has been narrated by filmmaker Ebrahim Hatamikia.

The book counsels on how to cope with feelings of failure or regret in the latter half of life and how to open to a more meaningful existence, even if outer circumstances cannot be changed.

“By reading this book, I learned how much energy exists in the world that we can summon to experience a different life,” Forutan said at the ceremony.

Forutan and Movahhed signed copies of the audiobook for the audience at the end of the ceremony.

The audiobook was published by the Culture of Life Foundation (not be confused with the one active in the United States).
