“Retouch” is about Maryam whose husband has an accident at home and, rather than saving him, she stops helping and watches him die.

The Silver Dragon for the best documentary film went to “The Origin of Trouble” by Tessa Louise Pope from the Netherlands and “Strange Case” by Zbigniew Czapla from Poland was picked as best animated film.

Earlier in April, “Retouch” won the Best Narrative Short at the 16th Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

As one of Europe’s oldest events dedicated to documentary, animation and short film, the 57th edition of the Krakow Film Festival was held in the Polish city of Krakow from May 28 to June 4.
