Asghar Farhadi’s Oscar-winning drama "The Salesman" will be screened in the New International Cinema section.

This section will also feature Iran-Afghanistan joint production "Parting" directed Navid Mahmudi. In this film a young refugee couple from Afghanistan attempt to flee to Europe through Tehran.

"Take Me Home", Abbas Kiarostami final work that is a characteristically playful tour of the alleys and stairways of southern Italy, with a soccer ball as our guide, will also be screened in this category.

The festival is scheduled to pay tribute the celebrated Iranian filmmaker by screening his 1974 film "The Traveler" in the Restorations and Rediscoveries section.

The film is about schoolboy Qassem does everything in his power, honest and otherwise, to raise the money for a ticket to attend his first professional match.
