Iranian short film "Retouch" is schedule to be screened at Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

Written and directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, "Retouch" tells the story of a woman that her husband has an accident at home and instead of saving him, she stops helping and watches his die.

The festival has unveiled the list 57 shorts film in the competition, chosen out of a whooping 4,385 submissions. The shorts are from various countries such Australia, Canada, Brazil, China, Iran, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Serbia, South Korea, Swiss, United Kingdom, Venezuela and America.

The Festival's includes a variety of independent films including documentaries, narrative features and shorts.

The 16th edition of annual Tribeca Film Festival runs April 19 to 30, 2017 in New York City.

 

The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 1988 by Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro and Craig Hatkoff.
